Jordan & Vanessa's story

Well here is where it all began! My husband and I have talked about adoption for years, it was something that we knew we wanted to do one day. After four biological babes of our own we have decided to take the leap of faith to adopt! We started our Journey March 1st 2018. We finished our home study August 15th, 2018. I couldn’t be more excited! We had visits from a social worker discussing all the things about our family, upbringing, beliefs and values. We were found fit to adopt, and I’m jumping inside to be moving onto the next step. I can’t wait to send our home study!!

Well my sweet little babe, we sent our papers almost two years ago to Nigeria, turns out there has been a change of plans. We have had to switch countries, and we are just as excited! On July 21st 2020 we got word that our dossier had officially arrived in Lesotho! The honest truth is that I am just as hopeful and excited that we will get to meet you soon :) For now we are getting our family and home ready for your sweet arrival. Books, toys, and even learning words in Sesotho are just a few things we are doing to prepare our home for you. We don’t know how old you will be, or what gender, but sweet little babe I can picture the day over and over of when we will meet and it just makes my heart burst!!!!
